What is crowdfunding and what is it used for?
Crowdfunding is a method of raising funds for a project, venture, or cause by collecting small contributions from a large number of people, typically through online platforms and social media. It allows individuals or organizations to reach out to a wide audience, known as the crowd, and request support in the form of financial contributions.
Meow Mews uses reward-based crowdfunding: Backers receive one or more of our kits as rewards in exchange for their contributions. This is commonly used by startups and creative projects.
